You would be forgiven for assuming that St Tropez is the sort of place that wouldn’t be touched by the recession. This is partly true, its not all doom and gloom, but there have just been some shifts over the past 12 months.

The villages surrounding St. Tropez of Ramatuelle, Gassin and Grimaud with their winding coastal roads and unspoilt beaches were what made the area famous in the first place. This area has always been a beautiful area and has drawns many of the big names arties of the 19th and 20th centuries such as Matisse and Picasso.
The timeless elegance of St. Tropez and the other villages in this area along with its glamourous reputation as the place to be seen in the summer means that this destination will always be in demand among the rich and famous.
