Property in Paris – the city of light, the city of love, the perfect cosmopolitan capital.
Paris offers an unrivalled blend of culture, gastronomy, shopping, architecture, open spaces, world famous landmarks and a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’.
Our Paris team are experts on the property market throughout the city, we work with clients from around the globe, helping them to find the perfect pied-a-terre in Paris. Our website contains a selection of property in Paris but we have access to the entire market.
We have seen a real change in the market since France began to slowly open up in mid May, demand is back with a vengeance across the country. In Paris, the demand is so strong that properties are selling as soon as they hit the market, sometimes before. If you find a property in Paris you love and decide to ‘sleep on it’, the chances are that by the time you wake up, another buyer has moved in, redecorated and is sat eating their petit dejeuner on the balcony (OK, not quite, but you get the picture…..). Is Property in Paris a good investment?
Over the last year, property in Paris has risen by 10%, and 16% in the last two years. Offering excellent investment prospects and stability for property buyers from around the world who are looking for a home in Europe, the popularity of property in Paris shows no signs of slowing down. Home Hunts’ Director Tim Swannie says that the Paris market is the busiest they’ve ever seen it in more than 15 years.
“The market seems set to continue increasing this year – the higher end of the market is particularly busy,” says Tim. “Buyers need to be prepared to move quickly once they find a property they like because good properties sell within days.” Find out more about the market in this article
“Property in Paris has always been popular with international buyers, but the fact that London is no longer in the EU is definitely making a lot of non European buyers, particularly those who do business with Europe, to look at alternatives,” says Tim. “On top of that, there are the Brits who are keen to buy their French foothold before the end of the Brexit transition period, we are finding that to be the case in many parts of France at present.”
