More than 80 million people visit ski resorts in the French and Swiss Alps each year. Here are four of the most desirable chalets in the French Alps in the most coveted property hotspots in the French Alps.

A recent report by Knight Frank revealed that the top four ski resorts for price performance in France were: Val d’Isère, Méribel, Chamonix and Courchevel. In the study, the price of a typical four or five bedroom chalet in each of these property hotspots in the French Alps increased “by 5.8% and 4.5% respectively in the year” to June 2015.
